When I finally created my WordPress blog today, it felt like a big milestone. I’ve had ideas for blogs for years, but actually seeing my own website online made everything feel real.
The funny thing is, I now have several places where I write — journals, blogs, drafts, notes, and different platforms. Sometimes it almost feels like too many. But at the same time, I genuinely love it.
Writing has been part of my life for a long time. I started journaling years ago, and over time it became one of the most important ways I understand myself and the world around me. When something is on my mind, writing about it helps me process it.
Blogging feels like the next step in that journey.
Every blog I create has a slightly different purpose. Some are for personal reflections. Some are for deeper essays about life. Others are simply places where I record thoughts, ideas, and questions I’ve been thinking about for years.
My new site, JohnsWritingLog.wordpress.com, feels special to me because it’s exactly what the name says: a writing log. A place where I can document ideas, reflections, and topics that have been on my mind for a long time.
And honestly, having multiple blogs might not be a bad thing. It just means I have many spaces to explore different parts of my creativity.
For now, I’m going to keep writing, keep experimenting, and see where this journey goes.
This is only the beginning.
